This 1984 home needed a kitchen update. The laminate cabinets with oak wood pulls were out of style, the appliances needed replacing and the laminate counter tops had seen better days.
Solution to the problem: The Walline's of Dellwood, MN. worked with Val Stuessi, CKD of Crystal Kitchen Center. The existing kitchen layout was not that bad, Val tweaked a few areas to make the kitchen layout fit with their present life style (E.G: Added a buffet on the dining room side, removed the unused desk and added a second pantry, widen the isle space for two people to cook together in their new kitchen.) Appliances stayed in approximately the same location, a warming drawer was added. The existing soffits and recess can lights and oak wood floors are remaining
The contemporary look gave away to a more transitional look of antique white painted cabinetry on the perimeter and mushroom painted cabinets for the island. Cambria counter tops in Ashford color. Appliances are Jennair range, Subzero refrigerator, Asko dishwasher and Dacor warming drawer.
